TK-8 Online Registration for 2020-21 Now Available

  • Sonora Elementary School is pleased to offer online registration for Transitional Kindergarten through 8th grade students for 2020-21 school year as an alternate to in-person registration during the COVID-19 closure.  The online registration jumpstarts our traditional student enrollment process and is subject to verification before the enrollment process is complete.  The registration is for new students that did not attend Sonora Elementary School for the 2019-20 school year.  Students up to 7th grade who attended Sonora Elementary in 2019-20 are automatically enrolled for 2020-21.

Children who will be five years old between September 2, 2020 and December 2, 2020 are eligible to be registered for Transitional Kindergarten.

Children who are five years old on or before September 1, 2020 are eligible to be registered for Kindergarten.

Immunizations are required by the State of California and vary by grade level of the student.  Information regarding what immunizations your child needs to register in school can be found by clicking here.

Proof of residency and medical history information will be requested during the online registration process.  Please gather this information before you start to register a child.

Interdistrict transfer requests are started at the district of residence.  Please refer to your local district to initiate the request.

    Idioma español está disponible.

We are hosting instrument and shirt returns on Wednesday, May 27th from 11:30 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.  Mr. Rogers will be located at our regular drive-thru enrichment packet location up the bus ramp. Please be sure your young musician's shirt is clean and that all mouthpieces are scrubbed clean with soap and water, then dried before placing back into the instrument case. Percussionists need to be sure their sticks, mallets and anything else in their bell kits are secured in the bags. If you plan to keep your instrument for the summer please contact Mr. Rogers at rrogers@sesk12.org.

  • UPDATE APRIL 3, 2020

    SES Parents/Staff,

With much sadness, it is my job to inform you all that the Sonora Elementary School District, in collaboration of a unified decision across Tuolumne County, will remain closed for the remainder of the 2019-2020 school year.  Distance Learning and meal distribution will be in effect for the remainder of the 2019-2020 School Year.

It is important to understand we are not ending the school year and we are continuing the essential work of teaching and learning for all Sonora Elementary School students, through our teaching staff and resources at the County Level.  We will continue to provide communication, information and learning resources through a variety of platforms.

    Take care,

    Chris Boyles, Principal
