    Sonora Elementary Online Registration

    Sonora Elementary School is pleased to offer online registration for Transitional Kindergarten through 8th grade students as an alternate to in-person registration during the COVID-19 Pandemic. The online registration jumpstarts our traditional student enrollment process and is subject to verification by the school office before the enrollment process is considered complete. 

    The online registration for 2021-22 is for new students that have not attended Sonora Elementary School recently. Children who will be five years old between September 2, 2021 and December 2, 2021 are eligible to be registered for Transitional Kindergarten. Children who are five years old on or before September 1, 2021 are eligible to be registered for Kindergarten.

    Immunizations are required by the State of California and vary by the grade level of the student. Information regarding what immunizations your child needs to register in school can be found by clicking here.  Please bring a copy of the child's immunization records with you when the school office schedules your appointment to complete the enrollment process.

    Proof of residency can be in the form of a copy of the mortgage documents or rental agreement with the parent/guardian name and address of the residence, and a recent utility bill (telephone, gas, electricity, water, or cable) with the residence address. Please gather this information to bring to the school office when the school contacts you for an appointment to complete the enrollment process.  

    Interdistrict transfer requests are started at the district of residence. Please refer to your local school district to initiate the request.

    Kindergarten registration for the following school year is held in April each year.

    Aeries Parent Portal

    Aeries Parent/Student Portal is a program to provide parents/guardians with an opportunity to monitor their students' progress throughout the school year. For families with multiple students, only one parent portal registration is required to be able to access all of your students at Sonora Elementary School.

    If you signed up for a Parent Portal account last year, there is no need to sign up again. Continue to use the account you have until your student leaves enrollment with Sonora Elementary School.

    To activate a new Parent Portal account, go to the login page and register for a new account by clicking on the Create New Account link under the red 'Next' button.

    You will need your email address, your student's permanent ID number, home telephone number, and verification passcode to register. Please contact the school office to obtain the verification passcode and ensure your contact information in our student information system is current before you register for an account. 

    If you have a Parent Portal account but may have forgotten your password, go to the login page and click the Forgot Password link under the red 'Next' button to start the process to reset your password. You will need access to your email account to complete the password reset.

     

    Aeries Mobile Portal App

    The Aeries Mobile App provides quick and easy access to the Student/Parent portal from your smartphone. Visit the login page at the link below and click on the link for Google Play or Apple App Store to download the Aeries Mobile Portal app for your smartphone. If you already have a Parent Portal account, after the app downloads, just tap the 'Login' button and use your existing username and password. If you are new to the Parent Portal, tap Create New Account to create your Parent Portal account. Make sure you have the required information as noted above before creating your account.

    Opt-In School Messenger for Text Messages

    Those who are listed as contacts for an enrolled student can opt-in to receive notifications via text message. If your number is not in our student information system, your request will be denied.
